Default Show us your flannels

Whether it's a uniform or a catalog sampling from Sears and Roebuck (more pics from my recent pickup)

Default Uniform Age/ID help?

I picked this uniform and cap up last weekend at a flea market. The cap is labeled inside, came from the Princeton University Store. It seems to me too small to fit on a adult man's head, however the uniform is large boy/man sized so I am not sure. There are no labels in the uniform, it appears to be hand sewn and made of what reminds me of old matress material. Notice the Heart that forms the cross of the "A" on the shirt..maybe the Angels?
Sorry the pic are not better. Anyone have an information/specualtion about this uniform, I am especially interested in your thoughts regards age and if the cap is a legit old baseball cap. Thanks Greg

A sugestion is that you search eBay from time to time to look for a game program (home or road) from that season and either purchase it or at least ask the seller to scan the roster page for you. Nice jersey!

Default More Flannels

Padres flannel was Sparky Anderson's as a coach right before taking over the Big Red Machine. Syracuse Chiefs flannel was worn by Jim Konstanty.

Default Sweet jerseys folks!

I only have one big league flannel, but hope it isn't my last. 1966, road Yankees jersey worn by coach Spud Murray (fishing buddy of the 'Mick!) until 1969, then passed on to rookie pitcher Bill Burbach.
