Default T206 PSA 4 MK Eye Appeal

Posted By: joe brennan

I know this card has a mark, but I just loved the eye appeal. I dont think the pencil mark takes anything away from the beauty of this card. Any way, I am the proud owner of it now. Joe

P.S. I realize these cards fail to compare to some of the great collectors on this board, but everyone here started somewhere, and as they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

I agree with you 100%, damn nice looking card and to heck with the pencil mark. PSA does this better than SGC in my opinion. SGC hits cards TOO HARD that have marks or stains. I like PSA's approach here. Dan.

Thanks guys. I just thought it was a really nice card, and at a great price. Now if I can only find about 100 more like it. Joe

Although this is slightly OT...does anyone know who this seller is. He is very unscrupulous and misleading person. He has two auctions up (actually one has just closed) for T206 white sox players. He has listed them as Black Sox although neither had any association with the Chicago franchise in or around the year 1919-1920. Deliberate sales tactic that infuriates me. Maybe i'm just a bit touchy on the subject but i'm sick and tired of people pulling this kind of scam.

Ive never had any problems with this seller and have bought several cards from him.

As for the pencil mark, I dont think it detracts from the card at all if on the reverse.
