A few folks have asked about a Net54baseball banquet this year. So here is the info again (above). Free drinks and horse duvers.....(my spelling) for around 5-6 hours with friends in the hobby. What could be better? Next month we will do the normal RSVP to get a head count. Still looking for anyone that wants to give a speech for 10-15 minutes concerning the hobby. Hope to see all members there.
thanks

An actual educational speech or maybe just drunken/incoherent rambling? I'm probably not your man for one but just the guy you are looking for, for the other!

I’m sure Brent will want to take this golden opportunity to speak and set the record straight.

Not sure why I wouldn’t be invited. I would think in light of the numerous threads monopolizing the board regarding Brent and PWCC lately that this would be the perfect opportunity for him to speak directly to the most passionate collectors and further explain his version of the story? Wouldn’t you welcome that Leon? Isn’t that essentially the point of a message board? Or am I missing something?

He's already booked, I hear, for the Blowout Cards dinner.

On a lighter note! They have a pretty cool pizza tour in Chicago. Could be a fun thing to do as a group on Thurs or Sat (definitely not overlapping with the banquet).

The Net54 dinner is always the very best part of the entire National trip.

And it should be fun again this year. We will do an RSVP in approximately a couple weeks. Hope to see all our members make it over....free beer, cocktails, soda etc....and some cheap pizza to sop it up!!

Perhaps you could invite Gary to speak on the subject of bumping PSA cards.

Yes. There will be an RSVP thread started very soon. That is the place to do it. So far we have Josh Evans, of Leland's fame, speaking. There are a few more that are iffy and say they might, so if anyone wants to speak just let me know. Or if you think you have 10-15 minutes of good stand up comedy, come on down. Lots of beer and good times will be flowing. Thanks for asking about it.
