Default ID Help Please - Team Postcard

Hi all,

I could use some help on this postcard depicting a team with a 'B' on their caps and uniforms. This postcard came from a prominent Maryland collector with a huge cache of Major League postcards, as well as Federal and Minor Leaue postcards.

Does anybody recognize any of these guys?

Baltimore? Boston Braves? Brooklyn Dodgers? Buffalo? Binghamton? Or some low minors or town team?

Based on the cards it came with, this one should be interesting.

Thanks!

Robert S

I'm thinking Birmingham Barons. Maybe somewhere around 1916. This is a stab but here is Frank O'Rourke from that team. Just a 5 minute search by me turned him up and I think you'd probably do well to search the lineup to try and ID a few more players to pin it to the Barons. He also played for Buffalo in 1913 and Binghamton in 1919.

To me it looks minor league. Not quite major league and certainly not town team. Too organized and pro-like to be town.
