Sorry man....but that Cobb looks like it came off a dot-matrix printer. The picture on it isn't sharp at all, the whole thing looks fuzzy.

Unnatural wear but if you don't believe what people on a forum say, submit them for grading.

Something looks extremely off about both the front and the back on both cards. Font, color and size looks goofy.

Paper stock looks off.

Wagner the redish/pink variation?

This looks like a bad eBay listing. If you wanted to be taken seriously perhaps better quality pictures of both cards and displaying them separate at view-able angles would be a start.

Here's a bunch of real Cobbs...
https://www.google.com/search?q=ty+c...ORLTAN2T0JM%3A

Notice how clear and sharp they all are? See how yours compares to these? Yours is fuzzy and grainy.

Yes, there was once a Cobb with a Ty Cobb back that sold for big money. But it was real.

As for the Wagner, there's no pinkish-orangish variation of that card I'm afraid.

Hope you didn't spend too much for these, but if you feel all of us are wrong, just send them in for grading and let us know how it turns out.

Yeah, these are bad fakes. Hope you didn't pay much for them, and also hope you didn't use google to find a card forum to try and rip someone off. Nothing personal but this is what I think every time someone joins the forum just to show off some reprints. Ironically this is the worst place on the internet to try and sell a fake tobacco card.

Your Cobb card is a reprint of this one. Notice the creases are identical. As already said, I hope you didn't pay too much.

I'd agree with this. And this particular poster is turning a blind eye to everything he's being told, is ignoring all evidence and still insists his cards are real. That's a very scammer-like quality in my opinion. Honestly, not only are they fakes, they're obvious and poorly done fakes at that. Nobody here is going to be fooled by these.

I'm not sure how many ways it has to be said. Yours is a very poor copy of the one that sold at Goldin. That was the original. Yours is the fake.

The Wagner is so bad it might not even be a copy of an original. That one might be just a distressed reprint as opposed to your Cobb which is a distressed copy of an actual card.

I like how half of the Wagner, in the original picture, is basically blocked out by the other holder....

I like how the back stamp survived the paper loss that is underneath it.

Is this a joke, or do you actually believe these cards are real? If the latter is true, why waste time trying to convince a forum? If I believed I found the two most valuable cards in the hobby in a raw state, my first call would be to PSA to set up an appointment for their walk through service. My second would be to book a flight to southern California, assuming you don't already live here.

I am appalled at the answers here. I will offer 500k for the pair. However, I may have to go purchase a couple monopoly games to secure proper loot for the transaction.

Jesse, good point. Exactly what is the endgame? Is it
1- You genuinely believe the cards are real? If so, have them graded. They'll be worth at least half a million dollars.

2- You want our opinion of the cards? If so, stop arguing with us. We've given you our opinion: they're fakes.

3- You came here to sell them? In that case, list them on the BST board. And please, include a price. I hate to be the one to begin the negotiations.
