Default Huggins & Scott winners

Congrats to all who won lots last evening, especially the Monarch Typewriter postcards--they are real beauties.

If the winner of Lot #288 (Spalding and Reach Baseball Guides) is interested in parting with the 1909, 1910 & 1911 copies, I'm interested in acquiring them for my research library.

Cheers,
Mike

The Monarch Typewriter PC's were so cool! I was (ignorantly) hoping they'd slide under the radar and I'd be able to scoop them up for a bargain price. Boy was I wrong. That Plank is awesome! Congrats to all of the winners.

I was hoping for the exact same thing. I wanted the Chief Bender and probably would have sold the rest.

Mike, depending on the condition you are looking for, I have quite a few Spalding and Reach guides, some in duplicate. If interested, PM your email and a list of the ones you are looking for, and I'll send pics, descriptions, prices. Thanks.

I would guess that a board member--maybe even a moderator--won those Monarchs, which I thought went for a very fair price.

Well, it wasn't me. For the most part I don't collect postcards though I am not above buying them if I think they are a good value. I don't know enough about those to know if that was a good or bad price. My gut tells me the price was both good for the buyer and the seller.

I won the Shibe Park seats. I think I got them for a steal. Rough shape, but I will have them restored. They will go nicely with my Forbes Field seats.
