Default Can anyone help identify Cobb or Crawford on this card please

Postmarked Oct 18, 1914 on back.

Heilmann could also be on this card, would have been as a rookie.

Thanks for any help in advance. -Josh

I think Cobb is 2nd from right side. Don't see Crawford. Tough to tell from the scan.

What about 3rd from the left side, with glove in his left hand, hat in right, wearing jacket, looking up to his left, slightly balding... That looks like Mr. Cobb to me.

Said guy on the right resembles Cobb, and I've seen other images of Cobb standing with his hands behind his back like that.

I'm was just thinking that the players with jackets are starters and the others are "newbies" ? I have my opinions about the others, but I was wondering what your thoughts were.

Perhaps the manager required the starters to wear sweaters to keep warm, similar to what pitchers do today.

Your going to get alot of different answers, my vote Cobb (6'1"tall) is the guy with hands behind back wearing jacket on right side. Crawford (6'tall) maybe 5th from left, Heilmann (6'1"tall) ????, or Jennings ???

Heilmann 1915 with SF Seals ...........................Crawford

My initial thought was that Cobb was 2nd from right also. Does anyone happen to have a picture of or know where to locate a scan (previous Mastro/REA auction?) of a 1913 Fatima Tigers team card... I think that would be the most helpful, especially in IDing some of the others.

I think Crawford is 5th from the left, and Cobb is second from the right.

I agree with Frank W.

Cobb would be the type to stand out amongst his team mates in a group pix.
Besides, check out this guy's nose, it's Cobb alright.

And, by 1914 Cobb was losing his hair, all the others look younger.

They're hoisting an American League Champions flag so the photo is probably opening day 1910....even then though Cobb already had started losing his hair.

These are the players that I think can be identified:
2nd from left -George Mullin
5th from left -Sam Crawford
6th from left -Davy Jones
7th from left -Bill Donovan
2nd from right -Cobb
