Default Lou Gehrig radio interview from 1939!

This is a newly found interview with Lou Gehrig on a 1939 radio talk show about Gehrig's take on the game of baseball, it's best players, and the future of the sport. Very interesting take on the possibility of developing a players union, but just shows how much sports have transformed!

Awesome. Thanks for posting! I love Lou's way of speaking. He sounds like a seasoned New Yorker, saying things like foist and poisonally.

Thank you. The first time I've heard my idol's voice.

Great interview & thanks for sharing it.
It's interesting to hear Gehrig speak. It's obvious that he was an educated and introspective guy...

Love it. Interesting to hear his views on how a player's union might function - In retrospect it's interesting to see how the Union evolved and really gave rise to riches for all of the players.

Default Incredible!

Absolutely incredible to hear a very humble Lou Gehrig. Almost like getting into a time machine! Thanks!

Mike
