1930 Hillerich & Bradsby Tony Cuccinello Game Used Rookie Bat

Offered for sale is a Hillerich & Bradsby pro model bat used by Tony Cuccinello with the Cincinnati Reds in 1930. "Chick" Cuccinello played from 1930 to 1945 with the Reds, Dodgers, Bees, Giants, Braves, and White Sox. He was a career .280 hitter who collected 1,729 hits, 94 HRs, and 884 RBI. He was a 3-time All Star Selection.

This 35.5", 31.9 oz gamer shows evidence of tremendous use. Many ball and stitch marks are visible on the left and right barrel surfaces and there is slight grain swelling and some separation present from repeated contact. One area of grain separation near
the name has been repaired. Other areas of separation have vintage nail repairs. The handle remains uncracked but the knob has
chips out of two sides. Nothing is marked on either end but lathe marks are present. The right barrel has been factory side
written for Cuccinello. It reads "33 oz Tony Chick Cuccinello 8-1-30". Below that it clearly reads "Cincinnati Natl Lea".
