Default 1936 PCL Padres Bobby Doerr

Does anyone know if a picture exists of just Doerr from this 1936 team picture? Thank, Bill.

Hi Bill,

I am not for certain but Bobby is alive and well, living in Eugene, Oregon.

I have his 1941 letter inviting him to play in the All-Star game of that year.

Bill,

You are probably not getting a response to your original question since this is the tobacco section but since I responded, I thought that I would take a pic of that 1941 letter to Bobby Doerr that was sent to him from Mr. Harridge, President of the American League Professional Base Ball Clubs.

The personal letter to him is a nice read regarding his selection to the 1941 All-Star Game at Briggs Stadium in Detroit.

Regards Sir,

Craig
