Default D304 Cobb opinions

I am going to go look at a D304 Cobb tomorrow here locally. The card was found in a storage unit that the owner bought. I have pictures of front and back. If someone could help me I would be glad to post (I can email them to you if necessary). Of course I am concerned that the card is authentic. How often do counterfeits of this issue occur and are there any tell tale signs? Also any idea what the card would bring in graded VG-EX or EX? Thanks for your help. I appreciate all the knowledge here.

Damian

Default D304 Cobb

There's a PSA 8 in Heritage's catalog in the freedom collection.
In any grade this is a fantastic card. Good luck with your pursuing it.

Default D304 Cobb

By the way, the PSA 8 has a 50,000.00 starting bid! I have no idea what other conditions go at, but man, this is a great card!

Default be careful

There are a lot of reprints of D304 Cobbs so be careful. It's a classic card and is one of the great Cobby cards, imho. The NM-MT one should be fun to watch. I think it sold for about 270k last time.....I think some board members have some really nice ones..My guess is that a vg-ex one would bring about 30k-35k...but that is only a guess...Here is my lowly SGC 30....

Default Awesome Cobb, Leon!

Awesome Cobb you have. Any grade is fine as long as it's real. I have been against reprints since the 70's. They are a plague!
