Default 1940 Associated Stations stamp album - Seals

This is one of those rare times when I just bit the bullet and hit the ebay BIN instead of waiting to the end and seeing if I could win it for less. It is a neat PCL album with many of the stamps still in it, just the way it would have been collected 69 yrs ago....regards

What a great item! I'm guessing you have no plans to take the stamps out ...

Hey Chris,
Absolutely not. I will be leaving it just as it is. I think there are around 15 stamps in it altogether. I really don't care to complete the set either, but I do like the ancillary items and this is one I didn't have. regards

Default nice

I think the better question is whether Leon will lick and paste in the stamps he's currently missing once they are found. Don't be coy and try to throw us of the trail--we know you'll be hunting for them. Very neat item, obviously.

Very nice. I like that one page is used next to one unused, showing how it worked.

I chased one of these for quite some time for my O'Doul collection. Recently a collector sold off a few of them on Ebay. I wonder if that's where you got yours, as I did mine?

Did you get the whole book or just the O'Doul stamp?

Nice pickup Leon.

The Ferris Fain page is interesting, with the paste over of his biography. I'm assuming he was a late addition to the book and someone else got bumped, probably because they'd been traded?

Default stamp album

Leon,
Nice pickup! Its a nice album. Next time do me a favor and put your quarter right on the tip of the seals nose and it should have been at least a silver quarter to give it that old time look You know we had to do it

Oh, I got the whole book. Whether it remains the whole book is still undetermined...
