Default Interesting piece that I dug out of the archives

Have had this for quite a long time and pulled it out of the dark today. It is pretty neat in several ways. Former Major Leaguer Ollie Pickering wrote this letter on Vincennes Baseball Association letterhead, to whom we do not know(must have been quite a player), signed it(scarce autograph) and noted his playing days. Oddly he was fired by Vincennes as the Manager exactly seven days after writing this. At some point an e107 was attached(probably when it was framed).

Thought it was a neat piece from a memorabilia, autograph and card standpoint.

Wow, the very first American Lg batter, and he played in 1897 with some rookie named "Honus Wagner!"
