Default How would you sell this 1946 WS program & ticket

The program is in tough shape. In fact both the front and back cover are loose. But taped inside is a ticket from game 5 of the 1946 World Series. There's also a Harvard vs Dartmouth ticket stapled to the page. Not sure why. Towards the back of the program someone stapled a large envelope and stored the front page of the Boston Herald which detailed the game. I was thinking of trying to remove the WS ticket to sell separately. Not sure how much value the program has in this condition. The body of program is intact with no rips or writing.

What do you think?

Personally I like it as it is. It's maybe worth a bit more as individual parts, but as a complete souvenir with the ticket and newspaper it's more interesting than a worn program and a ticket with wear and tape stains.

The football ticket is pretty odd, at first I was thinking someone took a vacation to travel to the series and maybe saw a football game while they were in town. But there's a month gap between the two.

I would leave it together but remove the football ticket carefully. The WS ticket is going to be very ugly by itself with the tape on it. I think that you will realize at the least the same or a better price as 1 item.

The football ticket has little value I would sell it as is and not risk hurting the program more by removing either ticket. I think you will be surprised by fact it will attract buyers. Good luck.
