This is too funny! I actually posted this a few months ago to raise awareness on the scam that was going on. Y'all, I was getting messages weekly "I gots this 89 Topps Canseco and the error cut off thingy on the back...ebay says it's worth $3 grand!"
I always would politely educate the seller that it wasn't true sales data, etc. but they still come. I figured hey - why not get people's attention with an ebay listing? It looks like it is working a bit, thankfully! Now, the messages I get off this listing ... smh. Someone said "This is just a card with googly eyes glued on." I told him he was correct, and I was just trying to raise awareness. His response? "Then why u sellin it?" me: "I'm not - hence the $5,000 price tag." His final response: "UR smart like Joe Biden" There have been a handful of things I've heard like that.
