Default Ratsch Peerless Glove

Hello all! I am a newer member to this forum, thought I would share a recent pickup & see what other Ratsch Peerless items might be out there. This circa 1904 glove is in amazing shape, very light use. My collecting focus is pre 1930 uniforms & gloves, especially Thos Wilson items. Would love to see any Ratsch Peerless & Thos Wilson items other collections. Thanks for the read!

Great looking glove .. Amazing tag on it . You don't see many Ratsch gloves and that one's about as nice looking as they get .

Pristine glove Kris. It looks NOS.

Although I do not own an example of this card anymore, I have always liked this trade card.

I do have a Peerless uni, which are not very common.

Peerless Brand, also know as “Ratsch Peerless", a brand of the Chicago Sporting Goods MFG. Co. In 1919 the Thos E. Wilson Co. (Wilson) acquired Chicago Sporting Goods Co. for its expertise in uniforms.

Barry: here is a shot of the front.

Joe: That trade card is grail type item for me, hope to be lucky enough to score one one of these days. Amazing uni as well, what a fine collection of jerseys you have!

Barry: The lettering is the faint logo imprint. Can still see it pretty well in the right light. No other stampings present on the glove that I can see.

Default Ratsch Peerless Sign

KT, Thanks for posting this thread...I've learned a little about Ratsch Peerless from it. Above is a reverse glass printed sign I got at the 2011 National...It's the only reverse glass sports related advertising sign I own, or can even recall.

I dont have any sports related signage, but have several porcelain soda related signs in our kitchen. Hopefully, I can come across some in the future to add to my future sports den.
