Default July TRADE Thread

Posted By: Brian McQueen

Hey Everyone,

Leon and I thought we'd give the "trade thread" another go for the month of July in hopes of stirring up some trade talks between all of our members. However, please remember that we want this thread to be unique in that no one will be making any offers to buy or sell cards. All cards and "wants" listed should be for trade offers only.

I'll start off with a few I have available. Scans are on my website or available upon request:

OJ John Ward GAI 1.5
Mike Mattimore SGC 40
w600 Cy Young - GD
e102 Cobb SGC 20
1915 CJ Plank GD/VG
1926 Sports Champions Sewell PSA 9 (w/ auto)
1921 e253 Oxford Cy Perkins PSA 3
t209 Color Walsh - FR/GD
t209 Color Hoffman - FR/GD
t209 Color Crockett - PR-FR
t209 Color Pope - FR/GD
t205 Marquard - GD/VG
CJ Oldring - VG
t207 Covington blank back - VG
t207 Weaver GAI 3.5 w/ Anonymous back

I'm especially interested in e90-3s, e103s and perhaps e107 HOFers should anyone have any to part with. But I'm open to offers in general. Thanks,

Brian

I still need an N172 Hornung Baltimore.

Will trade an EX-MT 1887 Horning [Hornung] Boston with a great image for the Baltimore variant. Or will pay cash.

Thanks,
Tom L.

Hey Brian I would be intrested in your lowgrade t209 however I dont have much to trade. I do have this though...Image Hosted by ImageShack.us The Card is really much better than the scan...the scan kinda shows every little thing. I do have other cards thay are for possible trade depemding on the trade. So if the Colgans is not enough email and we'll talk about some other cards for me to add to the deal. Thanks Mricejr@sbcglobal.net I also have a pretty decent 1918 Zeenut possible trim on bottom or just general wear but no creases. Alawys intrested in lowgrade hofers....

I have a Goudey Wide Pen premium (Canadian version) of Carl Hubbell and t206 Rebel Oakes and Milligan that are VG. As always, I'm cheap and easy. Just looking for players I don't have yet. Set doesn't matter and only condition considerations are no heavy creases thru the face, otherwise paper loss, back damage a custom vintage die-cuts are all accptable.

Jay

My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.

I have an e95 Frank Chance that was broken out of a PSA 3 holder and returned by SGC as signs of trimming. I am willing to trade this one away as I now have an upgrade. If anyone is interested in trading let me know. I am looking for other caramels cards. Hopefully a HOFer from e93, e96 or others.

1885 African-American John (Jack) Frye Team Cabinet. Large format cabinet-style team photograph (10.5 x 13.5 inches) of the integrated Lock Haven Baseball Club, the "Champions of Pennsylvania." Photograph includes John H. (Jack) Frye, one of the first two African-American players to break into the white professional leagues (in 1885). Only known original photograph of Frye. The photograph apparently once belonged personally to Frye. On the reverse are period notations which read (in ink) "Compliments of John H. Frye of Lock Haven B.B.C. Champions of Pennsylvania 1885" and in old pencil "William Frye brother living at 635 Boas St Harrisburg Pa. Research shows that Frye's brother did indeed live at 635 Boas Street.

I'm interested in trade for unique 19th century baseball items (scorebooks, images, etc.). I also have a few other items available for trade.

I need Beall and Berry from the 1910 Obak set of 175.
Mohler from the 1910 Obak set of 150.
I could use an upgrade on my 1911 Weaver too.
I need the following M116 Sporting Life cards:
Barger, Bliss, Block, Campbell, Cicotte, Ray Collins, Covaleskie, Crawford, Criger, Criss, Dahlen, Dessau, Donahue, Flick, Frock, Krueger, McBride, McElveen, Oakes, Pernoll, Shean, Stoval, Stroud, both Honus Wagners, Willis, Wood and C. Young.
All pastels except Wagner.
And color variations of E94s and always looking for D311 Pacific Coast Biscuits.

I have some midgrade E98 HOFers which are dupes socked away and ready to trade. I'm not going to sell them only trade.

I have the following mostly "off condition" pre-war cards available to trade

T206 - Ames Hands Above Head F (crease, sligh paperloss on corner)
T206 - L Tannehill Chicago F/G
T206 - Cree, P, paper loss on bottom by name
W514 - Mays F, Wheat VG, Sisler (P puncholes) and a handful of others
33 Goudey - Cuyler
33 Goudey - Warneke

I am mainly looking for low grade T206's from my wantlist http://www.oldbaseball.com/wantlists/bdonaldson.htm

I also have a metal, orange on black scoreboard letter from the "original" Yankee stadium. I purchased it from TCMA around 1975. I would trade it for T206 high end HOFers from my list.

I can send Scans / photos of anything mentioned above.

thanks

Bob

Surely someone else besides me is dumb enough to try and collect D311s or has some laying around. Anyone?

I recently started collecting cards from this issue and was looking to trade for any Zeenuts, 1911-1938, depicting Major League stars or HOFers. Most of the cards I listed at the top of this thread are still available as well as some OJ commons and HOFers I recently acquired along with a 1933 Sport Kings Cobb.

Going to make an attempt to trade for some E103 upgrades. In general I would trade a 2 for a 3 and include another 2.

Chance my 2 and another HOF 2 for a Chance 3.
Cobb my 2 and a Wagner 2 for a Cobb 3.
Crawford my 2 and another HOF 2 for a Crawford 3.
Ewing my 2 and another 2 for a Ewing 3.
Jones my 2 and another 2 for a Jones 3.
Lajoie my 2 and another HOF 2 for a Lajoie 3.

Also intrested in upgrading these to 4's if possible as well as 13 3's that I would be interested to upgrade along these lines.

Peter

I have e90-1's of Bill Bailey and Harry Davis in SGC 50...I'm looking for e90-1's in SGC 30 or 40. I still need about 85 of them, so please email me with what you have - I'm looking for no creases across the face, decent centering, and no paper loss.

Scans of Bailey and Davis are available, please email me if interested in trading.
