Default Upgrade of 1936 R314 Goudey Wide Pen Premium Type 3

....much better registration and corners ; has a light corner crease but I can live with it....took several years to find the first one and several more years to finally find a better one....wasn't a popular big-name player so few were collected and by my experience very few were saved...this was a ''BIN'' and I broke a fingernail jumping onto my keyboard...

....despite the tiny name font this is indeed a '' Wide Pen'' , Type 3 Borderless var.

Thanks to the guys at the BST Auction store (not our BST section, but the website) for these. Sad to see them so obviously trimmed, but they were fair priced for what they are. Hard to find these in any condition, so the images are great! I am very happy to add them to my PCL group.

Nice card Cain. I was one of the underbidders on that one. I'm glad that it went to someone on the board.

A few pick ups...some not November. I believe that the Anson and NY team were cut out of the 1888 G76 Old Judge poster based on comparing these images with the full poster. That's some high end scrap booking

Default I know it is from 1964, but it is a Greenberg

I bought this from Kit Young - it is from the 1964 Topps Rookie All-Star Banquet set - a weird Greenberg to add to my collection.

This Drummond Brown T212-1 1909 Obak arrived today. I believe I need only one more card to complete the catcher card run in the set.

Admittedly not baseball and I have no idea of how rare it is, but I spotted this on ebay and thought that the upside-down back made it worth the $11. The brand being related to the T206 set made it a nice pickup for me.

Thanks Trey. I'm thinking that these tougher dark tints may have been made in Canada even though they have "made in USA" on the back.

Todd,

Pretty rare. I do have one so there must be a sheet out there's worth. Nice pickup for sure at $11 in my opinion.

Very happy to have grabbed this one on eBay for under $100 shipped.

Awesome front but paper loss on all four corners on the back. Since it will be displayed couldn't be happier!
