Hi All

I was wondering how many t206 southern leuguers cards approximately survived today? Anyone know by any chance?

Mike, I meant by cards like how many there? Like there is an average of 3000 cards per common card that survived today

I will take a crack... I just had a look at ghe SGC population reports. I would judge the liklihood of a given SLer to be submitted for grading to be roughly the same as for lesser known HOFer. I checked a few, and there seemed to be roughly 100 graded cards fot a typical SLer. Alternatively, lesser known HOFers (I checked e.g. zach wheat) had about 300 graded specimens. So if there are say roughly 3000 cards existing for a given t206 card I would estimate roughly 1000 for a typical SLer. Just a quick guess, to get a ballpark figure. Anybody have a better guess?

Cheers, David

David,
I see that you collect SLers... do the Old Mill backs carry a premium over the Piedmont backs? I want to get all my SLers with the Old Mill back, seems that would be a neat subset within the Monster. Looking at EBAY sales I didnt see much of a difference but I could be wrong with the small sample size.

I agree with you that there isn't much difference within the SL subset. Maybe a small increase for the Old Mill over the Piedmont, but nothing compared to the Hindu!
