For Sale - 1930 H&B Ossie Orwoll Pro Model Bat
I'm putting this up for sale here more to see if there is any interest. I'm asking $450 shipped or best offer. My email is tim@hofbats.com or you can reach my by a PM.
This bat is a 1930 H&B Ossie Orwoll signature model. It is 34 5/8" in length and weight is 37.9 oz. It is dark hickory wood. Handle is cracked and has been repaired with nails. Bat was acquired from a guy in Washington state. Orwoll played the 1930 and 1931 seasons for the Portland Beavers of the PCL and the bat is likely from that time. He was also back in Portland for 37 games of the 1932 season. His claim to fame is that he was a pitcher for the 1928 & 1929 Philadelphia Athletics.
