Default OT: Did Lou Gehrig die from CTE?

Interesting video by Keith Olbermann. What led up to Lou Gehrigs death?

That is an interesting story. I would like to know about the various injuries he suffered during the streak - I bet there were a lot.

I wrote an illustrated story a few years back about Ray White who beaned Gehrig in an exhibition game in 1934.

Ray White: Gunning For Gehrig

I didn't watch the tv bit that started the thread but this '34 injury was pointed to as one of several that could have contributed to his death if it wasn't ALS.
