Default I'm looking for a photo of Arthur H. Soden, President NL 1882

Hey guys, I've been searching like crazy and cannot find a photo of Arthur H. Soden, President NL 1882. Any help would be great, maybe you have an 1882 Spalding baseball guide, or something with a likeness. You can post here or email me directly to: info@historyofthebaseball.com

Thanks guys.

There's a tiny image of him on Wikipedia that seems to be the common one everywhere, but I'm assuming you need something large enough for print...?

Brandon,
I'm sending you the original scan of this, but perhaps you can find someone who has an original Sporting Life composite of the 1906 Boston Beaneaters? This is a lesser-quality image re-shot at a later date from an original. The Soden image crops out to about twice the size of the Wikipedia image above (in terms of pixels), but may not matter as muddy as it is in the repro it was scanned from:

He died in 1925. Perhaps there's an obit in the Baseball Magazine with a photo.

You might check with the Hall of Fame Library in Cooperstown as well. They have a fairly extensive photo archive, and typically will provide publication quality images (for a fee).

It's just a woodcut and appears to be based on the commonly-available image already provided, but here is Soden as shown in the 08-Aug-1891 Sporting Life.
