Am wondering if anyone else is into this facet of collecting?

The 1st 2 are yardsale pickups from the '70's--not alot of value--- but all the others are from the early '50's and in really nice condition. These comics, like most of my vintage cards, are original purchase & stored & saved from my youth.

Hope you all enjoy seeing them. (NO, the stickers are NOT on the mags--I labeled the slipcover to help me recall date of issue!)

All comments are welcome---Would love to see what others have!

First issue--only 2 made--nice value!

Issues 1-2 & 3 Only 3 issues made in 1951 &'52--not too often seen in this condition! (#10 on cvr means #1)

1st issue--only 2 made--also close to NRMT. (Again--#10 on cover means #1)

Despite the #3 it is the ONLY issue of Home Run ever produced.

This comic is very SCARCE--dare I say RARE? Only 1 made & has an Overstreet value of over $700 in NRMT! (Mine is nice, but the cover was factory stapled a bit OC!)

Issues 5 & 6 of a 6 comic issue w/ JR title--nice value to these also!

NOT sports but part of a 14 movie series of comics from the early '50's--This was #13

Could be no-one has any sports comics or there is just no interest in this facet of collecting, but wanted to give a bump before it disappears from front page.

Was hoping someone had some others to offer pics of so I would know what else is out there, but I realize this may be a very narrow field & limited to only early '50's production for vintage issues.

Great stuff, Fred, thanks very much for sharing those -- the guys here, at least, find 'em fascinating. We do have just one or two sports-themed comix ourselves that we're willing to post, we just haven't had a chance to dig 'em out and scan 'em yet...
