Default HOF Collector Thoughts . . .

Posted By: David Vargha

He certainly didn't ask for this and I'm sure he'd tell me not to do this, but I really want to thank Brian Hodes for all of his help on advising me on my building and collecting a Hall of Famer set. His advice has been "above and beyond" to someone he doesn't know and has never met. It is a true example of what collecting is all about! (Changed per Brian's request)

David,

Any advice you care to pass on to the next "generation" HOF collector?

I agree 100%. My dealings with Brian have been terrific every time. His collection is amazing - I love the Fan Craze cards and all of the great T205's. But, more importantly he is a top notch person.

You guys should stay away from HOF's.

Their cards will never amount to a hill of beans.

You are wasting money.

Who with any sense would collect HOF's??

Yeah, they are all a bunch of overrated bums. Everyone sell off your HOFers and stop buying them. Then Hal's collection will become worthless

I've just reached Upper Lower Class. I am now officially a babe magnet for poor chicks.

If the card market ever sinks to the point where Hal's cards are worthless. However, I am willing to help relieve him of his (nearly worthless) cards at a fraction of that inflated "book value".
