Default Real rack packs from the 60's

Posted By: Mike Ernst

Not the Christmas ones!!!

When did they begin? What years are the toughest?

I bought 150 rack packs of 1966 Topps in 1973 (they had been 29 cents each in 66-were marked a dime each--bought them all for $10, resold them through the Trader Speaks at $1.50 each postpaid and thought I was making good money). How do those compare with others from the 60's? Are any of those I sold in 73 still floating around?

None of these are mine but this is the oldest one I've ever seen:

I believe Mr Mint had some in his 1960 cello pack find. The oldest Topps sell sheet that I've seen advertising them is a 61 rak with Maris on top.
