Not a new pickup but Peter's cards made me think of it and I suspect most have never seen it. Plus I'll probably never have an opportunity to post a tennis card again. From a 1980 Argentinean multisport set called Deportistas. I love that they called him Joan by accident.

It seems SGC is available for much lower prices than PSA, glad to pick this one up.

Nice P/U, Jeff! Quote:
I recently gave this Orr card (top left) to my buddy's 10 yr old son. He brought some cards to our trailer for me to look at last year so this year I thought I'd return the favor. He says he still collects when he can, but playing Rep Lacrosse doesn't afford him a lot of time. After talking with him and showing him some cards I collected when I was around his age, plus my John Tavares RC, I gave him this Orr card. The exuberant smile he gave me then the huge bear hug right after brought a tear to my eye. Needless to say, I think I made his day and may have converted him to a life long collector?

I decided to replace the card I gave him after doing a quick search and finding this one. Not much value at all in these cards unless they are mint, but I am glad to have one back in my collection.
