Default Babe "Spanky" Ruth Game Counter?

Hello, I was given this Ruth Item as an X-Mas gift this year. Its a "stat" counter/button with the Babe on front. Its missing the tab (celluloid hanger piece) on the top and has a scratch near his right eye. I like it very much as a gift, but have some questions.
-Is the obviously superimposed "B" for Babe, or Boston Braves?
-What year is it from?
-Value/Scarcity? (so I don't disrespect it too much, I already called him spanky)

Any help would be appreciated!
GB

Default Babe Ruth Scorer

These where issued by Quaker Oats in 1934-1935. There are two versions on this. The 1st which is a little hard to find is with the Babe with a Yankees cap. They put out a few of these then he was traded to the Braves. That is the more common one. Here are link to some that are listed on E-bay now. I have also added pictures of both.

Perfect response, Thanks! How were these distributed? In a cereal box?

They were premiums to be ordered using boxtops from Quaker cereals - here's a 1935 newspaper ad.
