It's obviously a gripping tool of some kind, but I can't tell any more than that. If I knew what it was, I might pay...$163 dollars for it. Maybe.

If I'm not mistaken, this baby (or one incredibly similar) was in the last Hunt Internet/Phone Auction. I think it sold for a couple hundred bucks. Too bad Hunt's didn't realize the seven degrees of separation from Ruth and Cobb. If this sells for more than a few hundred, it's got to be to someone who will get his head stuck in the end of it.
