Default Cool Find 1915 NEW YORK TIMES w/BABE RUTH

DSCN1203.jpg

DSCN1201.jpg

THE NEW YORK TIMES dated Sunday, September 16, 1915. Among the baseball news features on the back page is a headshot of a very young looking Babe Ruth.

The front page is missing. It has been taped along the spine and there are many small tears and bits of paper loss due to the extremely fragile condition of this 99 year-old newspaper, but generally I think it to be in presentable condition.

Not really certain what to do with it--I am a hockey collector--but I just could not pass it by.

Cut it out and get it graded and it will probably sell for a million bucks.
