Default Major League Picture Ball - Mets (1983)

Does anyone have any information on this ball? It looks like it was part of a set with every major league team. I am looking for the Mets ball for years but can't even find an image anywhere. Thanks.

I was going to do a write-up about how hard it is to search for something like this... when I found the dang thing.

https://ebay.com/itm/153433667077

My method: guessing who would be pictured and looking on Ebay. search terms:

Seaver photo ball

EDIT: close up images in that auction seem to reveal: the photos are not printed on the ball, but like an iron-on or a sticker of some sort. The 3rd picture showing Tom Seaver you can see it. Also the Tom Seaver image appears to be from when he was on the Reds.

You da man!!!

Thanks so much. I have been looking for that ball for years. It didn't help that he didn't include Kingman in either the description or title.

Sucks that it shows Seaver in his Reds gear.

Using the same criteria for the Giants (Clark, Robinson, Krukow, Hammaker), I'm led to believe one doesn't exist.

I will make a preliminary checklist for what is on Ebay as of today that I can find. If interested in the photos, you can get them from the ebay links.

CAA-83 Angels: Doug DeCinces, Fred Lynn, Rod Carew, Reggie Jackson
https://ebay.com/itm/254037923602

CRN-83 Reds: Ron Oester, Dave Concepcion, Dave Parker, Mario Soto
https://ebay.com/itm/202729032290

LADN-83 Dodgers: Dusty Baker, Fernando Valenzuela, Pedro Guerrero, Steve Sax
https://ebay.com/itm/223576999308

LADN-84 Dodgers: Mike Marshall, Greg Brock, Bill Russell, Ken Landreaux
https://ebay.com/itm/254037921398

NYMN-83 Mets: Mookie Wilson, Tom Seaver, George Foster, Dave Kingman
https://ebay.com/itm/153433667077

NYYA-83 Yankees: Ron Guidry, Rick Cerone, Dave Winfield, ? Gossage
https://ebay.com/itm/312573486816

With the presents of the 84 ball, it has the same card back as the 83 balls. Either there is a second series for 84 teams, or the "first series" that the cardback mentions includes some from 83 and 84.

EDIT: I searched for every player on the 1982 all-star game, not already on the above list, but could find no additional entries not even loose ones.

Example search terms:
trillo baseball -signed -bobblehead -cap -jersey -pinback

Thanks for doing that. Prices are all over the place. I wouldn’t pay much for a Giants ball, if one even exists.
