Default Fake M101 Wagner

I know all of you are way to smart to be fooled by this fake but just in case a new collector to the hobby registers here, I thought I would post this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1916-184-Han...item338d7a77ac

You can easily tell by the gap between the picture and the frame.

As was said, Ebay probably thought you were costing them too much money in bird-dogging bad stuff and getting it pulled. I don't think they care too much about fraud as long as they get their money....

I'm curious, if some scammer went to all the trouble to copy a real one and make it look aged and authentic in every other way, why wouldn't they make it without the space between the photo and the frame?

also, did you see that the seller offered a full refund if the buyer submitted it to PSA and it was held to be inauthentic?

Do you think the ebay seller was fooled himself?

These things have been sold as reprints for the last 30 yrs. Go to the Frisch website and have at it. Five minutes with the right pot of coffee and you have the aging. If it is a good seller then he is just fooled. There is no chance it's real. Edited to add the seller took it down. Probably a good seller with a bad card..

I talked to the seller about it and he said it was from an older collector and he actually felt bad as the guy had consigned a lot of cards with him and he had no problem taking it down after being contacted by a few people about it's authenticity. Seemed like a nice enough guy. So I think you are spot Leon, good seller, bad card.

Do most of the reprints also have a lot less of the bat showing than the
originals like this one? (I'm not to familiar with these).
