This noon my wife went outside. She looked down on the porch & saw something. It was on the 2nd step from the top and a little toward the driveway side. She carefully went over & looked to see what it was. It was a rectangle shaped object and what appeared to be a box. She picked it up and brought it inside. It had my name on it and it was very heavy. My wife said "What is that, it's very heavy". I said "I have no idea".

at my preschedule meeting today I showed my staff a few of the highlights and the projected hammer prices...and the response over and over was..."for a card?"

all of them were dumbfounded that a mickey mantle rookie sells for more than a babe ruth rookie. I agree!!!!!

The fact that I could possibly pick up a Wagner, Plank and Magie in one day at one place is mesmerizing. Add in the Broadleaf Tris Speaker, the O'hara and Demmitt and my bucket list gets really really really small.

Mine was in front of the door when I got home. [Insert foundation-cracking, back-breaking joke here] - Great way to spend the evening. The wife and puppy were a little jealous for attention.
