Default Jewel or Junk?

Everyone here was so helpful last year when I found an old PCBL jersey in my late Dad's stuff that I figured I'd go to the well again with this old 1949 trophy top from the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation.

Whatever base it had is missing. Looks like it has some sort of copper plating that is wearing off in spots.

Does anyone think it has any value?

Thank you,

Doug

What is the size of the figural batter (in inches, from top of head to soles of feet?) It's an unusual and different pose, but I'm guessing it's only worth around $50 - $60, max.

Trophies of this vintage are fairly common. and this one has a few condition issues. Hope this helps...
