I really hate to agree with Peter on anything, but, much to my chagrin, I must agree that the Radbourn image is pretty sweet. Mordecai is pretty nice too

Went antiquing with a buddy of mine today. Found these 2 at one of the stops. Paid $10 for the Mantle and $1 for the Paige. Not much, I know, but I thought they were pretty neat.

Anytime you can get a Mantle in decent shape for $10 it's definitely been a good day. Nice pickup!

Thanks Jim, I agree! And Andrew, that is a great looking Bender; I saw it at Baggers booth and I know it looks even better in person.

Got this at Chantilly - was happy to acquire this in trade for some prewar stuff I never should have bought

One of the best pitchers of the era and the manager he feuded with, leading to him leaving MLB. And my first Holsum Bread card featuring another HOF near-miss.

Thanks, Ryan! Likewise, your photo does not do the Cobb justice. The color, registration and centering are very nice. Sounds like it was a good trade for you.

Yes...seemed worth trading out some dups to get it. Don't come up for sale that often.

Normally I don't go for cards like this, grade is due to paper loss on the back. However, I've been looking for a Vance for a while and this one looks better than any others I've seen in quite a long time. - Sorry for the huge picture, I cant seem to edit it.

Nice eye candy Gary along with many other posters of this thread. Keeping the color theme going... I added the Plain background Gehrig "green" version.

Easily one of the best T3s ever made, and one of the best pieces of art - let alone baseball cards - in general. The only thing that would make it better is if Speaker were portrayed in a Cleveland uniform.

Love the color variations -- they are kind of like a "back run" just on the front!

Picked this up in Heritage and very psyched to own it (paying today and don't have card in hand, but receipt is inevitable so its a July pick up).
