In July the piece was there, in Oct it's missing. I guess I'm missing the problem?

Default Interesting

The person who sold it in October is not the same person who purchased this card in July. Somewhere along the line the card was cracked out of the SGC holder and submitted to PSA. The damage was probably when the card was cracked out. That missing corner was worth $1000 bucks.

Obviously, you guys just don't get it! As a high roller, I don't go to bed without at least two 1911 D304Cobbs' in my pocket. Sorry for the identical creases; I have a tendency to sleep on my side..

The winner of the auction in July (having placed 15 bids) was the second highest bidder in the Oct. auction (having place 1 bid 14 hours into the 10 day auction). l***p ended up losing $1,140 plus fees and regrading cost. Apparently, n***r wanted nothing to do with the second auction which kept the price down.

Things like this happen quite often. I have had the good fortune of people staying away, a few times.
