Default Fro Joy cards

A few graded Fro Joys have been on E-bay recently. It seems like the backs are much lighter than the fronts. Also the backs all have paper loss or a stain in the upper left corner - seems strange. The box on back is also missing parts of the line in the same places. Are the above features typical on real Fro Joys? Any tips on spotting fakes?

I bought one from this same seller, several months ago, "the Metallica seller" and he said he had a lot more that he wanted to sell. They came from his uncle or something and the thing is is that there were only 2 different cards out of all of them. They were either the grip or the hitting a homer. That might explain why they all look the same from this group. Otherwise, as the proud previous owner of 2 fakes I can say that there are none that I am aware of that are in color that are real.....also there are a lot of them that were cut from posters and I would not think they are the actual cards either.....just my opnion.....regards all

I understand how the backs could look so light as opposed to the fronts - he played with the file - upped the lightness. Dumb move, makes it look like your hiding something.

But, isn't there something "off" with the images he posted or is it just me? Look how close the right edge of the card is to what would be the bottom border of the SGC holder. Is it possible to be THAT close? Also, where are the little openings in the black cardboard sleeve of the SGC holder at the corners of the card? All of mine have these little openings, are there some that don't?

Auction #1857457447:
Would a card cut so far off-center really get a 40 from SGC?

Auction #1853620386:
That dark area along the top edge looks like surface damage to me. Hard to believe a card with that kind of wear would still get a 40.

Leon, was the card you bought from "mettalica50" graded?

it' a question ogf whether they're the real thing or not, I wouldn't touch one with a ten dollar bill. They're not all that gorgeous, and. apparently, very easy to counterfiet (sp?), so why not get something else?
1) all color Fro Joys are fake
2) a lot of black and white Fro Joys are fake.
