Default Most Collected / Most Popular Pre-War Players (Top 10)

I was Curious to see Who Everyone thought were the Most Collected / Most Popular Pre-War Players?

For Me I Figured

1. Babe Ruth
2. Ty Cobb
3. Shoeless Joe Jackson ????
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

But after those 3 (Shoeless Joe is a Guess) I am unsure.

What do you guys think?

Post Your Top 10 Most Collected / Most Popular Pre-War Baseball Players.

That Thread is Different.

1. I am Wondering the Players that are MOST POPULAR and COLLECTED Overall. That Thread asks who YOU collect which is not Necessarily who is Most Popular.

2. I am asking for Top 10 Lists. Most posts in the other thread list just one or two players (Also who that person collects Not who is Most Collected).

I think if you asked for the Top 9, the response would be more favorable.

I think Lajoie more than Hornsby or Anson. And certainly DiMaggio if this is pre WWII.

I'd move Wagner and Jackson up to 4 and 5.

When scanning eBay, pretty much first off I look for Walter Johnson & Mathewson. Although gotta include the 1941 Ted Williams - jeez, really tough to find nicely centered EX 5 or better - as some here will attest.

Lists are subjective but this would be close to mine too. A few positions could change but overall, it is what collectors seem to be buying.
