Default Jack Quinn mentioned in ESPN article

I love it when you see T206 subjects in ESPN articles. This one is about Jamie Moyer signing a minor league deal with the Rockies:
http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/po...ry-in-colorado

"Only Jack Quinn has won a regular season game after his 49th birthday and he was 49 years and 70 days old. Moyer will be well past that age when this season begins. "

Doesn't Tommy John make your arm stronger now?

Great to see a t206 reference from espn as well. I started to get tired of their "honey badger" references.

Default Bobby Doerr <> Jack Quinn

Jack Quinn and Bobby Doerr were teammates on the 1934 PCL Hollywood Stars. Quinn was 50, Doerr 14. Quite a link to the past. Are there any other players alive today could make such a claim, a similar linkage, to the past? (Doerr will be 94 April 7th)***********************************
