Seems I've been seeing alot of these lately. I've been unsucessfull at buying one so far for my type collection, but will continue the quest. Anyone know where all these came from? K

There were between 100 and 200 that came out last year. Oser and either SCP or Superior auctioned off at least 50 each.

Also, high grade 1915s are not that uncommon since you could buy the complete set from them. Thus, many 1915s have no caramel stains. I remember huge find of these turning up around 1985 or so and I am sure that is where many of these high grade examples are from.

I bought several cards from that find from Dick Decoursy at a show in Hotlanta in late 1987. I only wish I would had purchased a Jackson or Cobb instead of the lesser hofers and commons I bought. Where's that time machine anyway? later brian
