Default Mexican League (Negro Leaguers) Cards on E-Bay AGAIN

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960-MEXICO-...oAAOSw3mpXOMYw

These look even more fake than the last group filled with Negro Leaguers about a month ago that was discussed here on Net 54.....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/JOSH-GIBSON-...557&rmvSB=true

Did we ever get a final determination from any of the buyers from that group?

It appears that this e-bay seller ID is different but from the same selling location, hmm....

Don't know the answers but they don't look right to me either.

Default Let's assume real

For fun let's assume that these are real
I question they would be worth much
They are ugly post career cards
They are not that much earlier then the
Blackball stars cards that came out in the mid7os
They are much less attractive then the 1972 Puerto Rican sticker set
You could make an argument that the Fritsch set from 84
Has more going for it

Minoso is WAY too old in that photo. I seem to remember that photo having been taken in the 1980's. I believe he is wearing the 1983 "license plate" era uniform. It even looks red/white/blue on the card with the chest logo and SOX on hat blanked out. If that one's fake, they all are.

If real I think they would have some good value due to all of the factors in play...

I knew that photo looked familiar. Thanks for posting it and proving these cards are FAKE. I feel bad for the sucker who paid $600+ for these junkers.
