Default Magnifying glass?

I show my vintage baseball cards to the seniors at local retirement homes here in Las Vegas. Some of the residents do not have great sight and can not see the detail of the cards. Does anyone know of a good magnifying glass that I could purchase to help visually?

Not sure of the specific brand, I have a huge plastic one the size of a sheet of paper that works really good. I am about to head out so will post more info when I get back and if you want it I will send it to you for free. Thank you for doing this for the residents.

If they are going to be looking at them under magnification anyway, maybe you could start a new grading company...

This is what I have, it's 8.5"X11". We either got it at Walmart or eBay fairly cheap. It is large enough they could hold it on each end with ease. It is made of plastic so is fairly durable. It is much clearer than my crappy picture shows.

Ben, we know you're using it to read the fine print on the Jif coupon. It's okay to admit it.

Hi John. I was wondering with those magnifiers, have you any issues like some others in the reviews? Like the switch being difficult and battery cover falling off.

They interest me as I’ve been considering picking something up to look at cards.

Regards

Jon

We have several and have had a problem with only one of the backs. I got a replacement thru Amazon right away with no hassle. I have one at work and one I lug to the shows with me and they both work great. I have had no issues with the switches.
