Does any body remember the item number of the 1960 Fleer WrongBack card that BMW had up a couple of weeks ago? Or does anybody have info on this card? Rob

Mr. Wentz also wrote an article in Beckett Vintage about this card -- it was on the newstands a few weeks before the listing.

Hey Marc what do you think of this error from the same set? Rob

1960 Fleer Babe Ruth Wrongback ERROR w/Waner

1960 Fleer #3 Babe Ruth Wrongback ERROR on a card with Lloyd Waner on the front - definitely a rarity! Card is in pretty nice shape - edges are clean, surface has no creases, there is just a bit of wear on the corners, the front centering is about 65/35 all-around, the back centering is about 85/15 side to side - I am being pretty picky, this really is a nice card. No Reserve. Click on the link at the bottom of the auction to see all of my listings. A great addition to your collection

Talk about making a mountain out of a moehill. This card is simply a wrong back, just the same as any wrong back, somebody put the wrong sheet in the printer. The reason that the Pepper Martin is valuable is because it was never issued at all.

No wonder he didn't get the opening bid of $10000, any knowlegeable collector would see this for the $30 card that it is, besides nobody collects 1960s error cards anymore, it would have been much more valuable 15 years ago.
