Default D304 Holdings. Please help if you can!

Posted By: robert a

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering if those who collect d304 (if you have 1 or several)and who feel comfortable could email me with their front/back holdings.

I've been researching the set and I'm trying to confirm as many front/back combos as I can.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Guys,
I wanted to bump this thread once in a while for collectors who haven't logged on in a week or so. Thanks again for sharing the info. up to this point. I've made some interesting connections so far, but still would love to hear from others who collect d304. Be sure to be clear whether or not the back is brunners or butter krust (fleishman).

Thanks again.

Robert

Brunners Bread/Bakery cards are NOT generally refered to as Butter Krust (except on this board of late and Kevin Savage's last auction). Fleischmann's Bakery cards are often refered to as Butter Krust and are much rarer than the Brunners cards.

The different backs are pictured below (courtesy of bruce babcocks site):

It was nice talking with you Robert, here you go as promised: and it was always "FLEISCHMANN" back, not butter crust. As butter crust is also large on the Brunners brand.

It's Flieschmann's in my book too Dan.

..but our "higher powers" seem to disagree somewhat:

Dan,
Thanks for posting the ad piece!

The herzog w/bar is the only card that you board members have not provided as one of the cards that you possess. Is it out there?

Robert

Hi Rob,

I had a few nice examples arrive today that I'd be happy to share with you:

OToole - Brunner's
Kelly - Butter Krust
Merkle - Brunner's
Rucker - Brunner's
Shafer - Brunner's
Barry - Brunner's

Also, I had the Crawford PSA 3 that was on Ebay recently in my possession. That card was also a Brunner's.

Good luck!
Brian
