Default Chris Morales, Forensic Investigator

The below Mickey Mantle signed photo sold today on another auction site (they shall remain nameless) for a whopping $6.00. It was "Forensically Examined" by Chris Morales.

What if the auction houses changed their payments to authenticators and paid them a percentage of the sale price???

Imagine that. The below auction ended this morning. It was a "Dutch" auction of 2. They each sold for $3.00.

maybe the buying public is getting a bit smarter than we give them credit for?

I would love to hear "Clown Boy Moral Less" the Forensic Butchers answer to what is it in these Mantle signatures makes him think they're authentic? It is just crystal clear these are horrid fakes to an average collector yet Bozo the forensic butcher gets it wrong EVERYTIME?

Compare @ $3.00... Now that has a nice ring to it.

Even he can't be that stupid. He is rubberstamping everything that comes his way probably. Just a pathetic display, and anyone that buys them is just as bad

That does have a nice ring to it.

"Forensic Butcher" is good, too.

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I know enough about Mantle that even I can comfortably say that those are absolutely ridiculous.. Now how can this so-called forensic expert authenticate those with a straight face? There is absolutely no authentication or examination with him. His COA might as well just say "Yeah, I looked at this." He should open up a drive-thru...What a f*cking clown....

how can any profit be made off of 3 or 6 dollars per photo, even if the authentication was free? wouldn't trying to sell them in las vegas for 100 in a frame be the better way to go if someone wanted to move these for money to people just stumbling off of the casino floor? 3 bucks?

I don't think the intention was to sell them for 3 bucks. Sometimes the auction process bites you in the butt, even if you're moving fakes. I'm betting that at $3 apiece though, one way or another, that transaction doesn't get completed.

I own two Ted Williams photos from that auction site at $1 apiece, so I will take that bet.
I was lucky enough to get Burczyk's COA with them too.
They work on volume .

the cost for the photo paper and coa is almost a buck, they made 12.5 cents on mr. simon.

Obviously if they were real, they would have paid more to mr. williams, mr. mantle than they collected on the auction sale, they are in such a hurry to sell and lose money? unless of course they arent what they are promised to be? i still don't know if burczyk ever actually existed or looked at even 1 sports autograph. if he were alive right now you would think he would protest if he hadn't looked at any. I never hear anything, so maybe he never existed in the first place. Where did the consignors get the signed photos with the burczyk certs if no one has ever met burczyk? i've never met burczyk.

Well I stand corrected. Looks like they are at least stand-up enough to follow through on a sale

Their shipping department is a cash flow machine. $15.46 to ship a 4X6 photo. You just have to type in your zip code to get a shipping cost.

Even a $3.00 sale makes a profit for them.

i see, they make the money in shipping.

the muahmmad ali's that are certed by these same entities run in the same pack as the mantles, dimaggio's, williams, koufax, that we all see with the same 5 companies certs. morales, stat, scoreboard (copied), burczyk, gai. they must all come from the same source, who can't explain how he has so many of the same sigs and where, when they were signed. they just appeared out of thin air? Nobody will say exactly where the source of these are from, yet legitimate items have no problem with their sources being revealed. When, where, who, number of items, contracts, etc.

When the original owner of these items tried to get me to authenticate them, years ago, he told me where they allegedly came from.
However, though I was promised lots of money, I did not want to get involved as I had heard many stories about the material and knew it was controversial, to say the least.
Obviously, others decided to ignore the controversial nature of this material, and you all see the results.
