Baseball By The Numbers - Any Updates?
Does anyone know if there have been any updates, or any are planned, to the book "Baseball By The Numbers" by Mark Stang and Linda Harkness? The one that I have is copyright 1997.
And yes, I know much of the same information is available on baseball-reference.com now, but there are times when it is helpful to have it arranged differently in ways that I've only found in BBTM. Or, even better, if anyone has all the same info in an excel spreadsheet, I would love to get my hands on a copy of the file. It would be relatively easy to update each year, but looking at the size of the printed volume makes me cry just thinking about re-typing all of those names, dates and uniform numbers to get the initial spreadsheet set up.
