Vendomecat is one thing, but please explain it to this newbie. It couldn't be because of the psa slab. With these prices it seems like Pete was giving them away a couple months back. I was totally blown away...and the seller is Canadian!!!

I was after the e95 Plank from the same seller. It was a PSA 1, and it went for something like $110. I guess the high prices simply reflects how dry the market is, especially with regards to caramel cards.

...the seller was Canadian, yes. Why is that of any significance?

the e95 Plank tends to be pricey becuase it looks like the t206.

Quan,

Many of those cards today offered by 'grantiquities' were VERY LOW Pop gradewise. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. None of my SNIPE bids were high enough to win squat! The only other answer I can give is E CARD MADNESS!!!

As collectors complete the T205 and 206 sets, they are veering toward smaller caramel card sets, many chock full of HOFers like the E93, 94, 97, and 98. I think you'll see an increase in demand in the T204 and T213 set also. The T207 is an incredibly difficult set to try and complete so many collectors who are completists will stay away from that set.
As far as the E95 Plank goes, don't fret, I'll have a very sharp one on ebay in a couple of weeks.

Bob,

Please don't bring up t213's for a couple of more years as once my E98 set is complete thats what I'm moving on to late next year.

Your exactly right regarding the E sets. They are doable in terms of putting together sets - many of the cards look great - and you can put together lower grade sets for a somewhat reasonable price (of course reasonable means different things to different people) and in a reasonable amount of time. The cards are difficult to find but are available - it just takes some patience.

Regards
