This was my dream as a kid, to find a Lou Gehrig card. Not a 1973 Topps Gehrig in PR condition, but you get the point.

Hi Pete

In the 1948 Babe Ruth Story in an early scene at St Mary's schoolyard, the kids were trading Tobacco cards. If I recall correctly, a Christy Mathewson card was mentioned.

Rocky Dennis from the movie Mask. He and his friend, Ben, collected cards.

There are a lot of cards in the backround before that. And Babe Ruth takes a 1954 Topps Hank Aaron from Benny in his dream. When the main character asks his step father to play catch there is a box of post on the table with all the cards on the back.

Love the Chester Copperpot reference!!

This is from the movie “Mask”; Rocky Dennis collected the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers (although I think there are some 1956s in there)

Seems like there was a 62 Maris in a Star Trek episode.
