that Ed Reulbach threw shutouts, in both ends of a doubleheader against Brooklyn.

I believe that Kaiser Wilhelm and Jim Pastorius were the losing pitchers.

Incredible.

Wow,I guess this shows how rusty I am on my trivia.I thought it was Kaiser Sosay and Jaco Pastorius.Impressive display none the less !! Talk about going both ways in football, this is a true testament to the early ball players and their stamina and longevity.

At least most of us can claim to have been alive when the last pitcher pitched both ends of a double header, Wilbur Wood. The way pitchers are coddled today, there is no way we will ever see this happen again. It also makes you wonder how pitchers survived on a 4 man rotation and no relief specialists.

I love pinatas. You get to beat the crap of something and get rewarded with candy.
