Default CubanBaseballCards.com Auction #25 (Hurricane Relief) is live. Closes Oct. 21st

It's been almost 20 years since I first began my journeys throughout the Caribbean, searching for buried treasure in the form of obscure baseball cards of early Negro League players. My travels brought me to countless interesting places, including baseball-crazy islands like Cuba and Puerto Rico. I found many treasures and met many wonderful people along the way.

In 2003, I started to auction some of my finds, and now, 14 years later, my 25th auction has begun. Seeing the recent destruction caused by last month’s hurricanes, my thoughts immediately turned to all the people who are now struggling just to survive, and whose lives have been forever changed. I decided to dedicate auction #25 to the victims of these disasters by donating 25% of the revenue to relief and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. For all Puerto Rican cards, I will be donating 100% directly to Puerto Rico. If a Puerto Rican card sells for $1,000 that means $1,000 will be donated. For all other auction items, 25% will be donated to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Here is a link to the auction: https://cubanbaseballauctions.com/

Here are the organizations I'll be donating to, in case you'd like to make a direct contribution:

For Puerto Rico: https://hispanicfederation.org/unidos/

For the US Virgin Islands: https://www.usvirecovery.org/

The auction ends on Saturday, October 21st at 10:00 pm EST with a 15-minute rule.

Good luck!

-Ryan

I just remembered that for my last auction there was a Net54 member who registered a few days before the auction closed. I thought I had approved him to bid, but it turned out I'd made a mistake and hadn't approved him in time, so I offered him $50 in auction credit for the next auction. Thing is, I have no idea who it was. If he is reading this, or anyone knows who it might have been, please let me know. The offer still stands.

Thanks, Leon.

Just a final reminder to everyone that the auction ends tonight, with the extended bidding period beginning at 10:00 pm EST.

There are still a couple hours to place initial bids, or even to register if you've never bid before. I'll be checking diligently up until extended bidding begins and will approve any Net54 members immediately.

CLICK HERE TO ENTER THE AUCTION

Good luck!

-Ryan
