Lol, could have got a miscut #304 Sam Dente. I'm a magician....turned $78 into maybe $8! Oh well, can't win if you don't play!

That would be my luck....That is why these breaks never appealed to me. The only winner is the one doing the break. They sure are fun though.

Didn't hit anything great myself, but got a nicely centered high series Billy Herman... has a crease but my guess is it could grade a 2... should be able to sell quickly for about $100, so may make some lunch money! It was fun and will definitely try it again!!

Ask the guy who won the Mantle about that statement. They aren't for me either but there were actually quite a few people who did good on this one.

I played. Ended up with a decent 297 Andy Seminick SP...probably could get 1/3 of my money back, but you got to pay to play. The big winner of the night bought 35 spots, which is not an inconsequential purchase.

He didn't get it crazy cheap as he had brought 40 slots, but still comes out ahead.

In a break like this there are always a few who come out ahead, one or two who come out way ahead, and obviously the guy who sets it up makes a profit for his time. If you're not ok with that don't enter. But no one would go through the trouble of putting the cash up to buy the set, and shipping out over 400 cards without making something.
